I'm pretty sure production overflow, so you always benefit from extra production. You might still take X turn for a unit, but extra production will allow for the next to be build in X-1 turn instead.

Yes, but this is exactly how it can easily happen that the bonus on the production of the Diplo unit is overlooked.

Anyone else encountering a bug with culture where you'll suddenly get something like +200K culture in one turn? It's enough to buy out the entire policy tree, plus some ideologies, if they were available, but this tends to happen in Ancient Era or Classical Era.

I do have other mods in use with VP though, so those may be the problem.

Never had this issue, so it's probably coming from one of the mods.
 
Did a new take on this patch and got it working.
(usual stuff, moved all old mods aside, cleared cache, only reinstalled my must have mods)
 
Strange behavior from CS. I have CS ally to whom I gift units (5 so far and it's the reason he still alive), city has less than half HP and CS just runs gold process. I think that he supposed to produce units or at least run defense process.
After some turns CS started to work om armory.

I was positively surprised to see an AI pick Teocallis instead of mandir as 1st founder, sucks for me but oh well.
(also india, I dont think Gandhi will survive but as AI are willing to trade units maybe this will speed him up)

Why AI often pick Mandir first? Is it THAT good?
I would say no, but AI in general gets more pop/bigger cities because AI extra bonuses and for some this scales even better because of ub/ua.
But as you probably know, pop isnt everything and as human player Mandir is I would claim, mediocre.
Its probably better on lower diff because less penalties basically why its ok for AI on higher diff.
Religious buildings Id place higher for wide:
Teocallis (so much faith), Synagogues, Mosque, Stupa, Cathedral, Church
and probably synagogues and mosque higher for tall.

That's a bug in BNW, it's not related to your mod, you can ignore it.
 
I'm getting a CTD during turn 79 of the Barbarian turn. Can you tell me why? I've checked all the database LUA logs and there's no problem. Looking at the messages, I see that the Barbarian spearman is doing something and then suddenly gets a CTD.

Yes, at the very start of the mod it was decided not to change 1 unit per tile.
The implications for the AI are too great, and much of the work of the mod has been making the AI able to conduct wars.
 
Not sure if this is the appropriate place to ask, but when I try to install this, I get the error message "You don't have all the required DLCs installed. Vos Populi can't be installed if DLCs are missing."
I've been using VP for years, and I double checked (still have the install file from my current version, 4.16.2, which I installed in November last year), and it works; I'm definitely not missing any DLCs. Do you think it's worth uninstalling CIV 5 and reinstalling everything?
