Yeah, but Syn had better pick a mafioso then.

DAY IS OVER
DO NOT POST DURING RESOLUTION
I will have led the wagon on two innocents in a row...even I would suspect me at that point.
FRUIT. Am I getting lynched? I spend 6 hours in a shoot, the thread explodes, and I'm probably getting lynched for no discernible reason? Fruit you. Even if I am not.
Okay what the hell was this maniacal end of day about? Mad. You are all mad.

The day's proceedings became especially contentious as the simulation settled into a tense equilibrium. Neither side could gain much purchase on its objectives, or so it seemed on the surface. There were too many of the notorious unk(nown)-unk(nown)s at play. Suddenly, crises were erupting across the globe. Couriers of various nationalities were barging in and out of the chamber with such frequency and panicked intensity that the delegations stirred up a flash mob rendition of "We Didn't Start the Fire." The US chargé decided to wheel in a TV and tune into the ultimate source of public information, Future News Network. Actually it was more like a glassy sphere, which made it more convenient for a hundred-odd people to cluster around. Unfortunately there was no audio, because no known equipment was compatible with the sleek orb. From the pictures they gathered the gist of it: there was a lot of bad stuff going down, people being ground into dust fast and slow, but none of it really mattered because they were aspects of endemic dysfunctions and frozen conflicts and would come to a head beyond the scope of this simulation. Taking the initiative in this tense moment, the East Germans demanded the withdrawal of all NATO forces from Berlin.
But NATO said "no you" and the Soviets sheepishly slunk away, leaving all of Berlin under Western control and badly damaging their credibility in the Warsaw Pact.
How could Seon think doing this without consulting either his East German bosses or the Kremlin was a good idea? Now he is to be executed for crimes against the People.
Day 2 has ended. It is Night 2.
