Back before Conquest, I've used to have a Master Architect unit which for 400 shields could rush any improvement, included wonders.

Now, it seems to not work anymore. The 'Finish Improvements' flag is checked.

New bug or does it work differently ?

I think the ability to rush wonders has been removed... In my most recent game, I had the option to rush an improvement with a leader, but I couldn't rush a wonder.

Strange. The help of the editor still mentions wonders. (ouch, the sentance sounds so bad :rolleye:)

'If checked, the selected unit can rush an improvement or wonder to completion'

Well, well.

I hope that's not what they did. They should have 2 seperate flags, a finishes improvements and a Rushes wonders flag.

Let's start ;)

Should have added a "Trade Installation" Flag so Commercial civs could get cheaper improvements.

OK, I'll stop, I think that's one of the most important ones they forgot to add.

Isn't that the Science Age feature that classifies the unit as a Scientific leader?

Yeah, if you check the Science Age box you can rush wonders.

But... doesn't checking the 'Commercial' flag under 'Other Characteristics' do just that?
