All over the world, religions are spreading and becoming more important factors in cultural developement. Religion is very closely tied to tribalistic movements that are shaping the current empires as we speak. This new, growing importance of culture and tribalism (some might even call it nationalism) can be most perfectly seen in Mohenjo-Daro, where a huge amount of rebellions have begun: one in the east, where the Gita-Hindus are hoping to either form their own nation or join an already existing Gita-Hinduic nation, while in the west the Zarathustrans want to join Persia.

Other major religions include Sionism, which has spread greatly in the Nile Valley area, and is starting to reach the Eastern Mediterranean and the Middle East. Trogdorism spreads in Northern Europe, Genacrism in western. In southern Africa, shamanism is getting united with wealth worshipping, and in Eastern Asia both Mahayana and Theravada buddhism are on the rise. Apart from them, many forms of old shamanic and polytheistic religions still exist all over the world. Most important of these older polytheistic and Shaman religions seems to be Mediterranean polytheism, still important in most cultural centers of the Mediterranean.
Altough the importance of culture seems to be on the rise, many nations still use the oldest and easiest ways to gain influence; through military strenght. Several new devastating wars are wiping over the world...

Europe:
In the northeast, the Muscovites decided that they should have a coast by the Baltic. Quickly, an army of 3 units was raised, and an attack against the Novgoradians begun. The Novgorodians had four units facing them nearby the area of their capital. So far big battles have been avoided, as Muscovites are moving slowly, knowing that fast movement could cause heavy casualties when facing an equally strong enemy. The Muscovites have made their biggest gains in the north, where the Novgorodians had very few soldiers defending the area. The capital, however, is heavily fortified and seems almost impossible to rush through at the moment.

The Nordic Empire has begun a great project, the temple of trogdor, where religious rituals and human sacrifices are to be made!
The Leichtigkeiten Reich has also started a project, the German Roads, which will unify the infrastrucure of their region.
The Reich started a war known as the Bavarian war. It paid 2 sacks of gold to Geneva to get their assistance against Bavaria. The Genevans attacked Bavaria first, but the attack directly towards the Bavarian capital was a miserable failure, it was far too well-defended. Instead the Genevans - after facing some serious defeats - decided to start another strategy, as they are now attempting to surround the city. Bavarians saw this coming, however, and managed to stop the Genevans from forming such a surround ring. Currently the situation is in a stalemate. Bavarians, however, got their economy damaged badly, partly because of Genevans and partly because of what was going up in the north..
What is troublesome for the Bavarians is that after they had removed all except one of their units from the north to defend their capital, the Reich attacked with an overwhelmingly large army of 5 units. Stealing everything on their way, the Reich made a good money with the expense of the Bavarians. Their small defeats have came from volunteer Bavarians trying to defend their homeland and their possessions, but even this has not been enough to stop the Reich, only to slow them down a bit.

In northwestern Europe, yet another northern European war has taken place - the War of Normandy, where Brittany has attacked their Normandian neighours. The attack was so quick that Normandians started to reach only after their capital was surrounded. With no time to form a good garrison there, the Brittanians took the capital with minor losses. From there they moved onwards towards the borders of Flanders, where the most major battle of this war so far took place. With local merchants defending their homeland alongside with the army, the Brittanians failed to reach the borders of Flanders. Normandy is, however, still on the verge of destruction, and right now it looks like they only managed to buy themselves some time. Brittany has already installed governors in the area and the area has slowly but steadily begun integrating with the Brittanic infrastructure, giving them a slight economy boost.

Galicia has started a great project, The Beacon of Endovelicus, a religious project in the newly-founded city of Sintra.
Galicia send an army against barbarians. This army of horsemen was succesful until barbarians realized to use spears against the horsemen. Soon Galician generals decided to include some melee fighters in their units as well, and after a couble of minor defeats, the barbarians fell and have now been driven out from Iberian peninsula entirely, as Maltans also landed there, thus developing even better trade connections along the Mediterranean.

Malta is now officially the richest nation on Earth.
The Balkanic War began when Racadonia attacked Hellenic Empire! Their attack has been succesful as the Hellenics weren't preparing for this. However, after advancing a little the Hellenics managed to finaly put up their army and defend themselves. Right now the situation seems like a stalemate, as two equally-sized armies are facing each other in strong defence positions, however Racadonia's army appears to look stronger if also more low-moraled.. Frightening for Racadonia, the Greeks in Athens and Sparta (who, because of Hellenia's strong culture, identify with them more than with Racadonians) are starting to show signs of unrest. So far rebellions have been avoided but it seems like their appearence is only a question of time.. on the other hand, Hellenic slaves have also started to show signs of unrest against their masters, as Racadonians have been granting them freedom.

Africa and Asia:
The strong Sionist culture spreads all over the Eastern Mediterranean as well as the Nile Valley area (+1 culture to Sion)
Both Sion and Kush attract merchants from all over the nearby areas with their strong culture that is having influence in nearby nations (+1 point to economy level for both). These two are quickly becoming the strongest cultural bases on Earth - perhaps along with Persia.
A great rebellion was seen in the Twin Kingdoms of Zulu Empire. This rebellion was quelled down, but it cost the Zulus a great deal of soldiers. The problems only seem to be at the beginning, as more and more upperclass merchants are opposing the personal union..

The Zarathustric religion of Persia spreads to Middle-East, where Ur has converted for that religion. This does not make everyone in the country content, as there are still many people who believe in the once-so-strong Babylonian religions.
The strong Chinese culture is the only thing preventing Koreans and Yangians from attacking; their Buddhists religious views have spread over their borders, and Koreans and Yangians are afraid that their Buddhist people would get upset.

ABOUT ORDERS:
When writing military orders, I would be happy if you explained the basic troops placements etc, so I don't have to guess the place where you are attacking. I'd like the military orders to contain at least the following information:
1. Reasons for the declaration of war.
2. Basic goals for the campaign for this turn.
3. Troop placements: from where to where are you attacking, and with how many units.
The more precise tactics you can leave to your generals if you want.
