At least in the Civ 7 Denuvo thread the Firaxis/2K survey about Civ 7 is discussed since several days, but as I have not found a special thread for it at CFC and think that there could be some other civers outside the Denuvo thread, who are interested in answering the questions in that survey, and the survey is still open, here are the links to that survey:

I took a couple opportunities in the survey to mention how much my daughter and I love to play Hot Seat against each other. Maybe if enough people mention it, that will guilt them into putting it in the game eventually.

I am going to mention in the survey how we need either "classic mode" setting with permanent civs and/or the ability to retain civ when choosing era (presumably only if the human/AI player handles crisis very well)

At first I was focusing on the former but now I think latter would be more important, since most of my worries would be solved if we could begin as one of ancient civs and then stay with our favourite civ after reaching its era, not being forced to leave it against our wishes and history (hello Spain which apparently doesn't exist in the modern age)

I encourage other people to mention your suggestions for the calibration of civ switching system.

I don't have a daughter or wife yet ( :aargh: ), but I am going to mention I would play hot seat with them if I had either, for your cause is noble and needs support

My daughter will be nine months old when 7 comes out so I don't think she'll be quite ready for hotseat LOL
She might find the pretty colors appealing. :D

Signs that your child has watched you playing too much Civ VII:

She insists on waving a hand axe, staff or sword around when she has to talk to anyone . . .

...and she kicks furniture away from her when throwing a tantrum.

Seriously -- thanks to Firxais for the survey -- this may be a back door way for Firaxis to highlight to 2K the impact Denuvo may have on early sales. The way they framed the question why I haven't preordered was pretty neutral for all choices except Denuvo (being a "deal killer")

I tried to convey the point across that the Nintendo Switch release is not a good form factor to play CIV VII if it has too many graphical/gameplay compromises and that I am waiting for the next console to eventually pull the trigger...I hope they already have a development kit for the "Switch 2" and are doing their best to bring that port of the game along with all the PC's master race version's bells and whistles.

I think, if there is a great number of answers where the option "Very excited about civ switching" and "Very excited about the leaders" is not tickled, this could give Firaxis also something to reflect about.

The question about Denuvo as a "deal-breaker" shows, that the survey can really have some influence to Civ 7.

I am not very excited about either but it's not a dealbreaker for me...I wait for the reviews. I pointed out my favourite things about the game as being a offline single player self paced experience where I can build my empire and influence the game world akin or not to real life history. So basically stuck to the points that make a CIV game a civilization game.

Should have waited to take the survey until after they said there’s only 10 civs per era in the base game! I feel like they need a minimum of 12 to make it work, otherwise their whole edifice crumbles.

They durn screwed up!
