This sounds like the end to me.
I love that Sid got the last turn
A fitting end.
new frontier pass is done and they told us to keep watching them for announcements. Hopefully we wont have to wait years for that
I know I've sort of been on the cynics team most of this year, but is it naive to hope for one more patch at some point to fix the bugs introduced over the last year?
Carl did say to keep the feedback coming, so it may insinuate one or two bug patches.
They can use the feedback for a new game as well though. Especially for stuff that is not easily fixed like the diplo system.

I'm sure we'll get one or two more bug-fixing patches, but it's pretty clear that there's no more content coming.
I'm totally okay with the amount of content there is. Civ is ripe with it, I just want more balancing patches, bug fixes, access to full modding, and a working worldbuilder : )
Yup, this is definitely the end of civ6 development. There is a good chance of bugfix patch or two, but anything more would feel like a huge surprise after the massive stream of 'wrap up'.
Probably saw the Leviathan release for EU4 and figured they should quit while they're ahead
Enjoyed the video, I usually don't watch them. Seeing/hearing the devs kinda makes me feel bad about having maybe been a bit too pointed in my criticism on occasion. In reality I have greatly enjoyed the game for many, many hours and hope for more good times to come in a future Civ game. Well done guys.
I've watched a Zlewwik TV video where he got around 800 development in each province. So... yeah, makes sense they'd probably not want something like that to happen to Civ 6.
Wasn't Leviathan basically made by a different team? I haven't really looked into Paradox Tinto but I've seen the memes.
Edit: Now it's a good time to announce Victoria III
Really? I haven't really paid attention to the Leviathan Update and anything related to it, but if so... Yikes on behalf of Paradox.
I'm not sure, I read they split their titles into different teams (with specific names, in this case Tinto). So I don't know if it's an actual different team or if it's the same team as before but under a new name.
In any case, regarding player toxicity. I think this article is timely:
Separate names with a comma.
