Try to keep them moving their settler along the coasts so they can hopefully meet more new City-States and Natural Wonders.
I'll have to double down on my work tomorrow so I have time to watch this...
Hopefully we wont get a Tolkien'esk storytelling from Ed for 30 minutes before we see something new.
It would also be refreshing if they mentioned what has happened to the AI, UI etc... everyone asks every video and livestream... ignoring it isn't helping.
I have a business planning on Friday so I will have late watching. I hope Ed will explain more about changes to cultural victory as well.
At least it's somewhat appropriate this time.
Maori means they‘ll show a game from the start. No future era reveals, nothing new in the tech tree. Hopefully, they‘ll show the civics tree this time though.
I assume they'll start at the beginning, but they may still have a 2nd save on the same map from a later point in the game if they want to show off another feature.
They'll need something to show off for Canada.
I agree. It will probably be the first 30 turns or so. And we should see the civics tree open right off the bat since Maori accumulate culture even before settling.
I wonder how long it will take them to settle. I guess the audience participation is in helping pick a spot?
I hope they discuss how they designed the Maori Civ as well. Lots of Maori culture discussion in the livestream as well as gameplay, please.
And also discussions of why "toa" ("warrior" in Maori) are different from the Maori warrior unit. Also, what does the toa replace, if anything? Would be interesting to know. Maybe they replace swordsman (?), which would make sense since Maori didn't exactly have swords as we know them.
I hope there will be a live stream after every Civ reveal, that'd be awesome.
Maori Warriors become so great they get upgraded into super warriors in the Classical Era, a.k.a. "Toa."
That's how I interpret it at least.
The +2 Science and +2 Culture disappears upon the founding of the first city though; right? Could be some interesting strategies there........
That's how I understand it.
Last week Sarah said they'd be doing streams "most weeks."
You know what we need to do.
Twitch chat - "Move the settler to further to the right"
Carl - "Settle next to Poland and start building an army you say?"
