I wonder the same. I couldn't find anything at the official Firaxis website. The Colonization II website is, of course, as dead as the dodo.

If you didn't, you should've. AoD2 is the best bet out there, at the present time.

Kudos to you, Dale. My games are moving along nicely. And I like being able to use the Faireweather map script. The New World-based maps are nice, but playing them time and again is far too repetitive for me.

The two best mods for colonization is AoD and Americo's mod.

The last contest they didn't announce at all really. about 5 months after the contest I got an email that a computer was on the way and it did show up. Getting a new computer was huge for me, as after all I'm just a blue collar type worker guy, but I was also really hoping for an announcement of some kind so more people could try and enjoy my PerfectWorld map for Civ4. We may not hear anything for a good long while.
