While I doubt they implemented this, I think it would be fun if tiles with resources that become submerged retain their resources. Amber can already be found in the sea as well as on land, but offshore mining of resources should still be possible. I dont code, so I'm not sure if these resources are easy to code to flip to sea resources when the tile flips to a coastal tile.

I'm all up for sea cows, sea foxes and sea deer (and sea bananas) :crazyeye: (Sea tobacco?)

Cows, foxes, deer, dyes, etc. obviously wouldn't work, but amber, oil, iron, marble, jade, ect. would definitely work. Especially amber and oil as they already have an in game mechanic for these resources

Cows totally work. You just need to figure out how to make a commercially viable venture out of milking manatees.
