folder icon setting

is there an easier way set the icon instead of tile for all folders than having to go to each folder and do it there?

You mean changing the folder view (thumbnails, icons, list, etc) or actually changing the icon?

If it's changing the view, set the way you want then go to Tools>Folder Options>View Tab then hit the "Apply to All Folders" button.

If it's for icons, I don't know.

that button is gray for me, cant click it
