If Mourinho takes us to the final, I won't really be surprised, but I sort of will be surprised. I expected his first year back to be a rebuild year.

Although to be fair - I kind of wish Bayern had gotten stronger opponents so far in the knockouts. Arsenal and Man Utd. aren't/haven't been threatening teams respectively for a while.

That kind of hubris will guarantee you'll lose to Chelsea in the final again :p

    It's a pity we can't have a re-edition of the 1999 European Cup final.

That would have been the perfect opportunity for revenge. I still look back at that game and can't figure out how the heck Bayern managed to lose in 2 minutes.

Van Persie will be out for six weeks with a sprained knee, meaning he won't play against Bayern. Those are even worse news for United...

Don't be so pessimistic. At this stage every team could win the title, so each team you play is going to be tough. But currently Bayern have been playing excellent and we haven't, so they are definitely favourites.

    Well this is a bumming. (42' Chelsea 4 - 0 Arsenal)

Drama though, The Ox decided he was going to pretend to be a goalkeeper and saved a shot with his hand. The ref waited for what seemed like 5 years before giving a penalty. Then the ref sends off Kieran Gibbs instead of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain. This guy on twitter said it best:

I was surprised to see Arsenal being beat that badly after the half. Guess that being a man down was enough for it to all fall apart.

Apparently Wenger didn't turn up to his press conference.
His players failed him on the worst possible day.

    His alter statements… poor man.

At this rate, it'll be fourth place again after all. Yet, is players can have a go at the FA Cup… right? Right?

Liverpool and their crazy matches… 5-3, 4-3, 3-1, 3-2, 5-1, to hell with everything, now it's 6-3, they've scored the most goals in their campaign so far in the same match that they conceded the most. As I should've expected.

As a neutral in the title race, I hope LP win the league.

After some of the comments by Mourinho i've gone from liking him to disliking him. I hope Chelsea mess it up.

Does anyone at all like Mourinho?? After his time at Real Madrid, I didn't think he had any supporters at all. He's a great coach, but he's the most unlikeable person on Earth...

I didn't mind him at Madrid because I hated Barca more and he was an enemy of Barca (a club he wanted to manage before Guardiola got the job ahead of him). I could even forgive him for gouging a cancer survivor.

All my respect for him dissolved with that "specialist in failure" remark. He also said this in a recent press conference:

I don't like managers having digs at others. It's embarrasing.
