Latest word is the "franchise" player for Sydney FC will be John Aloisi not Cocu
I have no idea why Man Utd will likely pay that much money for Hargreaves, who in all the years he played for Bayern never got beyond being a mediocre player. Prices in England are really ridiculous.
Anyhow, despite earlier dismissals of any offers I think it is still well possible that Werder will sell Miroslav Klose to Bayern for a decent price.
We have also signed the formerly loaned Hugo Almeida from Porto.
Bayern are meant to be having a wholesale clearout this summer arn't they, what with their failure to qualify for champs league?
Yeah, they talk about big investments. Many names are circulated. Toni, Klose, Ribery, Robben, to name just a few.
The Scum has said that Man U are going to pay big bucks for Berbatov but being The Scum this is likely to be true has an element of truth misinformed an out and out lie.
Sunderland has made a bid of around 2 million £ of Jussi Jääskeläinen, says the British media.
I've heard saha and 28 million or something for him- well not worth it imo
Yeah that bid sounds like a joke. The price is too high and really we need an additional good striker rather than an exchange.
Tottenham have signed Gareth Bale- about £8 million I think. I bet he flops
Liverpool have signed young Hungarian duo Krisztian Nemeth and Andras Simon.
Nemeth, 18, and 17-year-old Simon both excelled for Hungary at the Uefa Under-17 championships in 2006.
Both players join the Reds from MTK Hungary, with the two players normally deployed in attack although Nemeth can also be used in midfield.

I think he will do okay at Tottenham as he is likely to get a reasonable amount of playing time unlike Walcott.
I heard that Portsmouth are considering signing Titus Bramble. Don't know what 'Arry's been drinking, but it surely can't be legal.
I dunno he seems able to get a lot out of what's considered 'lost causes', look at sol- he's their rock, amazing after the trouble at arsenal the year before (though no doubt about it years before he was v good).
Don't think Titus was ever a 'found cause' like Sol was though
Ari (Brazilian guy) from some Swedish club -> AZ. Will he be the new Alves?
Nani and Anderson look like they are going to United.
Both seem like good signings particularly as Scholes and particularly Giggs are not going to be around forever. Probably need a decent striker although Rossi will potentially be back next season.
According to Bild Franck Ribéry will move from Marseille to Bayern Munich for € 25M. Supposed to be the biggest transfer fee ever paid by Bayern.
I heard that it was confirmed about two weeks ago...
Joey Barton is off to Newcastle.
