For those here when civ4 released, how long before these boards clear of all the crap talk and what have you and people start playing the game for the fun of it?

( I know i am, just stopped in to see what everyone was talking about and guess what... back to civ i go.)

It will take few weeks

But anyway people are allowed to criticize if they don't like the game. I love the game and I don't care about the critics. Also there have been many positive reviews but those threads go immediately to page 2 while critic posts open a discussion and stay in page 1

In general, forums for every hyped game are filled with haters for the first week or so, and Civ5 seems to be no exception. Let it die down first, and don't get discouraged by the vocal minority.
