Trying to use PushMission to force an animation to occur when a determined action is taken.
The idea is to gift Great People through a special mission, but I want them to animate as if they were being used. If I use PushMission with, for example, MISSION_GOLDEN_AGE, the unit, if capable of so, will start a Golden Age in addition to it's animation for doing so; I want only the animation to occur.

    Ideas?

I can't wait to experiment with this!

As I understand it, ec 1990 corresponds to the Activate/Build animation that Great Persons/Settlers/Workers/Roman Legions, etc., use when the corresponding Action is selected in the unit panel.

Quick question: is it possible to add ec 1990 to a unit that doesn't use this event code normally?

I think I know the answer, but suppose I had a regular "rifleman" unit that doesn't have/need ec 1990 under normal circumstances - can such a unit be given this capability? And what animation file would you add to its fxsxml file?

    Thanks!
