So when is the Republican congress going to open up an investigation into sexual abuse ? You know how Republicans love investigating Sexual harassment claims, for years and then handing down impeachments.

The GOP does those things but this isn't a model.

Their media surrogates have been accusing prominent Democrats of running a pedophile ring out of a pizza parlor. It's close enough for me to put in the projection camp.

Gym Jordan looked like he wanted to put someone in a bear hug at yesterday's hearing

I think we perhaps misunderestimated the types of locker rooms Republicans hang out in when we criticized their dismissal of things as "locker room talk."

And in typical fashion, supreme idiot Jim Jordan decided that rather than admit his mishandling of the situation and express penitence to try to get out in front of it, he denied it and doubled down repeatedly and now has double-digit wrestlers saying that he definitely knew the abuse was going on.

You't think these people would learn by now. All lying is ever going to get you is a bunch of additional people who may have been willing to keep quiet and out of the spotlight, until your lying made them angry enough to come forward.

It is how our political system works though. Congress investigates quite a range of activity. Just look at Gym Jordan and the grappling he did with that FBI agent on Thursday.

No Comm is right, extra marital affairs, sexual assault and pedophilia are all ground for re-election /s
I would expect that Republicans would at least look into the allegations and if appropriate force him to resign over this scandal.

I seem to recall several loud cries from the right about investigating Al Franken. And Democrats were mostly fine with that. Of course, shoe on the other foot the response is "that's not how the system works." Convenient.

It's only a crime if Demon-C-Rats do it, Republicans have legislative, moral and Covfefe immunity and cannot make mistakes.
