I wish they weren't differently shaped.
No one has absolutely perfectly symmetrical features. The colors really stand out in that pic, and nice colors.
Spoiler what I think :
Mary you are naturally gorgeous, and it do has a strange effect, it makes most makeup becomes an obstacle instead of enhancer, except this time, it doesn't hide your grace. And you look like someone who born in early 90s or late 80's. All that fact is an answer regarding your shape
Wouldn't have really noticed without having it pointed out.
I'm sure that's would be the same for most of us. (and kind of shows how unimportant it really is in the whole scheme of things)
It's the overall effect that counts and there doesn't seem to be any weakness on that.
Thank you, you're very kind.
And I was born in 1982
I'm just saying what I kept out loud because I just want you to believe that every detail of you is already that good.
I look more proper to be your uncle while I born in 1984 lol
I'm loving my new camera, I think this one is taking much better quality photographs (well as best as can be imagined I guess considering the subject, lol!)
No meeting for me today, so I'm kind of a mess.
Even on our best days, most of us will never look that good.
I apologize for spamming this thread, I'm probably super annoying, I'm just moderately happy with how this closeup turned out ... (frizzy hair not withstanding)
That's a better angle. It softens your features a touch.
I sometimes envy people who are, like, capable of taking selfies, I don't know what's wrong with me but I just cannot do it, I feel too self-conscious and silly about it
Me too ... that's why I take them, it feels therapeutic. I've heard the best way to deal with something that scares you is to face it head on I'd absolutely love to see your selfies!
My biggest problem (other than being very critical of my appearance) is my fear of becoming narcissistic.
Never had a selfie myself and I rarely appear on photo in general because I usually avoid photograph session except when it is a must, for me that moment when everybody are in pose and cheering loudly is very awkward moment and not pleasant. I just smile, not giving any jumping happy pose or crab pose, hand in the air. Especially I'm an HR right now, nobody forcing me what to do. And my boss is a cool dude, he likes me the way I am.
I feel also pretty much liberated by my tendencies, by neglecting this social demand I can be myself than trying to blend with the crowd. It makes my face muscle more relax also
Reminds me of this scene from "requiem for a dream" when the beautiful female protagonist hate seeing herself in a mirror. My wife also suffered the same, even though she is stunning (I hit a jackpot getting her,not in my wildest dream), but over critical parents distort her view about herself, but now since she is with me this thing is over.
Who's that beautiful teenage girl ? What have You done with Mary ? J/k I like Your eyebrows on this one . I wonder if that rosy cheeks are a makeup or they natural ?
I'm so sorry for your wife's insecurities, I'm glad you've been so supportive of her personal growth in regards to her self esteem. I understand about her parents ... when I was younger my family sometimes watched the Drew Carey show. My mother would point to Mimi Bobeck and tell me "That's what you're going to be when you grow up."
A girl shall keep her secrets.
One good thing about cloudy Michigan weather is that I haven't been freckling as bad XD
Ironically, until somewhat recently I felt the same. I finally got over that just in time for the cell phone repair man to leave a smudge under the glass over the selfie camera on my phone. I didn't catch it until way after warranty period. And he also sold us counterfeit screens that are failing.
Oh wait this isn't the rant thread my bad
I don't like taking pics of myself either (or others taking pics of me)
At some point, though, i will have to go to a professional photographer, to make a profile pic for business reasons.
Have them take one of you in your Emperor Whatsisname regalia.
Alexios II Komnenos (though some argue the painting/fresco depicts another of the Komnenoi)
Separate names with a comma.
