Thought this was so true
I believe that is the USS Constitution, also known as Old Ironsides. A floating museum for naval history. It still does cruises to other ports for historical holidays such as Independence Day.
In 2015 France sent a replica of a ship (L'Herimione) which helped The US in the Revolution. As this ship is flying the French Tricolor I suspect it is this ship.

It reminds me more of having a Great Admiral near a modern ship
You're right, I missed the flag entirely.
Had I not seen it I too would have thought it was the oldest ship still commissioned in the US Navy, Second oldest is a Battleship(BB39) that's been in commission since 1916.
