[found workaround] FFH2 game options screw up Pitboss player setup

I am hoping to get a Pitboss FFH2 game going. The problem is that on the Pitboss game setup screen there are so many FFH2 game options that they push the player setup options off the screen. I've attached a screenshot (ffh2-pitboss.jpg) illustrating this. To contrast, I've also attached a screenshot of the plain BTS pitboss game setup screen (vanilla.jpg).

As you can see, I should be seeing a player setup section at the bottom of the FFH2 pitboss game setup window, but its being pushed off the screen because there are too many FFH2 game options.

I already tried editing CIV4GameOptionInfos.xml and deleting a bunch of game options, but pitboss crashes when loading FFH2 after that.

How can I get to the player setup options when setting up a FFH2 pitboss game?

I don't think that problem is specific to FfH2, and would likely affect any mod with additional game options. You'll need to contact 2K Games and get them to release a version of the PitBoss Application that creates a scroll bar for the Game Options section when the number of options exceeds the default amount, rather than pushing the Player Setup Options off the bottom of the window.

I understand that this really isn't a problem with FFH2. However I'd really like to get a FFH2 pitboss game going. I've tried it with another large mod (Rise of Mankind 2), and it at least seems to work well after a few turns of testing, so I really want to try to get FFH2 working with this since my friend and I enjoy it so much. This setup menu issue seems like a really silly issue to prevent me from trying it out.

Is there any way for me to remove a bunch of the options from the game setup screen? I am a very nerdy person so I am perfectly capable of editing XML files if necessary. I've already tried removing a bunch of game options from CIV4GameOptionInfos.xml but the game crashes when I do that. I also tried setting the visibility option to 0 on most of the game options, but it just greys them out instead of making them invisible.

Any civ4 modding experts willing to give me some hints?

well it looks like I've found a silly workaround for this silly issue. Apparently the game setup window will automatically resize itself based on your desktop resolution. I am using remote desktop to connect to the pitboss server from my Linux desktop.

The Linux "rdesktop" command has a command line option to set the screen resolution. So I used that option to vastly extend the height of my remote desktop connection. Specifically I connected to the pitboss server using this command:
rdesktop -g 1280x2560 pitboss-server-hostname

Of course my desktop screen is only 1600x1200, so the remote desktop window runs way off the screen. However, my window manager allows me to alt-leftclick on a window and drag it around, so I can drag the top onto my screen to select options, then drag the bottom onto my screen to click next.

Obviously not everyone is going to be able to do this, and it is a pretty silly way around the problem. I've attached a screenshot of my ridiculously long pitboss setup window.

I'll make sure to contact 2K games about this issue.

Unfortunately it is an .EXE file, a screenshot of the file properties is attached.
