Here's a few things about the scenario behind my game.
Scenario: Age of Discovery
Difficulty: Chieftain (yes i'm a whimp)
AI Agression: Normal
Country: France
Leader: King Steinbrecher (I made a bio for him and why he's German and all that stuff it didn't really happen in the actual scenario but i made it up to go along with the story)

AD 1490
Paris, France

A wedding between Queen Victoria of France and General Steinbrecher of a small, German province make Steinbrecher the emperor of France. Many of France's people resisted General Steinbrecher becoming emperor. Although Steinbrecher had the support of the military and businesspersons. He was an industrial and commercial person who promised to revive the degrading state of France.
After the wedding, Steinbrecher made a speech at Paris, his todo list during his reign. It was kind of a joke, but the whole world observed. His speech included the usual things a new emperor would say; build up the economy, strengthen the military, take new lands. It wasn't much of a surprise. But one thing Steinbrecher said was his plans for conquering the fabled 'new world.' Personally Steinbrecher felt that the new world didn't exist. But he wanted to send ships west with armies and colonists to conquer the new lands and extend the French way of life to every part of the globe. Just days later, Steinbrecher sent an army of four divisions, three pikemen and one trebuchets, and a worker and a settler to Bordeaux that borded ships and headed west. Amazed and wanting to compete, other European powers such as Netherlands, England, and Portugal sent ships west too.
As the ships sent west, one of the two fleets encountered the Spanish navy. At first they wanted to fight, and Admiral Pierre wanted to go to war with Spain because he knew that France now had a superior navy, but after days of dispute Steinbrecher stunned the political realm again by signing a right of passage treaty with Isabella of Spain. Both leaders didn't want the treaty but they knew if nothing was done the maulicious Admiral Pierre would begin bombarding the Spanish forts they were near.
And the ships kept sailing westward.

AD 1491
Bordeaux, France

The two ships, the Explorer and the Conquerer, were said to have endured hardships at sea. Storms and battles with barbarian ships damaged the ships carrying the men, but the ships kept traveling on. The Atlantic Ocean was said to only extent roughly ten tiles* west, but the Explorer and the Conqueror proved this theory wrong. Admiral Pierre estimated the entire ocean was one hundred tiles long from Bordeaux to the easternmost coast of the New World.
Riots broke out in Brest. The people of the town of Brest wanted to become English citizens, but when the English rejected the governor's claim to become English, Brest turned into a town of riot and corruption. A huge French army of pikemen was deployed to the scene and entertainers tried to quell the rebellions but the riots continued on. The harbor at Brest became less useful because terrorists in the town hijacked trade caravans going to the harbor, so Emperor Steinbrecher began construction of a harbor at Bordeaux. In his own words "The traitors at Brest will still be French citizens in our superior state of flourishing culture and outstanding nobility, but a new, greater port at Bordeaux will replace the one at Brest. It will be the largest and most frequently used French port on earth, and we will have ships going in and out of the city every single year!"

AD 1492
London, England

Emperor Steinbrecher was invited to London by England's Queen Elizabeth. France and England's situation was very fragile. On and off war was frequent throughout the reign of the old kings of France. But Steinbrecher wanted to end this petty rivalry. He felt the two countries could become allies and defeat any obstacles that stand in the way of their expansion.
Steinbrecher arrived at the great palace in England. He walked into a dining hall with a kitchen beside it with many workers preparing a feast. Steinbrecher thought that this was a good sign. Dinner was served after two hours of chat between Elizabeth and Steinbrecher and Victoria. But when dinner was served, Steinbrecher looked at his meal and asked "where's the wine?"
Elizabeth grinned. "There is no wine." she said sarcastically. Steinbrecher gave her a questioned look. "You see, England has no wines. And France, you have much wine all throughout your empire. We demand that you trade us wine, or France might suffer consequences." Elizabeth said to Steinbrecher. He was annoyed, and said back "France won't give in to your petiful demands. France can crush your puny military any time." Elizabeth then pointed to the door. Steinbrecher and Victoria were escorted out. Elizabeth didn't declare war, which showed England was becoming less powerful, and this showed France was brave. An important boost in French morale.

Somewhere at sea

"Land!!!" Admiral Pierre yelled. He was sick and tired of sitting on the Explorer, being the captain of the ship and head of the French navy but still being rationed terribly with salt and alcohol. He was so excited. He wanted to settle the new colony right away. The admiral sent back a message to Steinbrecher saying that land was ahead and would be settled as soon as the ships could land. "Hehe. I'm going to be governor of a new colony!" the admiral thought. He still remembered that Steinbrecher said Pierre would become the governor of the French colony in the New world as soon as it was settled. And when the land was discovered, many other countries offered a lot of gold and resources for France's world map, but France kept rejecting. They couldn't put a price on knowlege and prosperity.
