Hi,
On the Freeciv development forum, we have recently started talking about animating the unit graphics, but have a chicken-and-egg situation.
Potential artists cannot add their work because there is no code, and most coders say the code could be added if we only had some graphics.
I'm thinking that soon I'll just start writing the code anyway.
Would anyone here be interested in contributing the graphics?
Freeciv is probably the most acclaimed free game for linux, so your contribution could bring you glory and fame.
I should add that development happens on unix, but we also have Windows binaries that would hopefully be updated later on.
