Freeciv-Web is the browser-based version of the open source strategy game Freeciv. It allows you to play this epic strategy game for free on your PC, tablet og HTML5 capable smartphone.

Freeciv-web is developed as an open source project on github. The game is constantly improving and we are adding new features and improvements currently. Therefore it would be interesting to hear the feedback from users in this civfanatics forum, so please post any feedback or suggestions your have for this game. How would you like to play Freeciv-web on your browser?

I never really liked free civ that much, but on a phone I'm sure it's better than civrev so I'm going to try it.

I only played for couple minutes but it was hard to click what I wanted on iphone 5, pretty small. Is there a zoom option?

Had a tough time playing on the ipad. Movement isn't easy and there are a number of odd pauses as if I broke something.
