From the Ashes

Cedric lay with his dead father for some two hours before standing. He wiped his eyes and then walked into his father's house. He looked around until he found a room with a mirror in it. He looked at himself. His dirty blonde hair was now covered with splotches of Blood. He found a pale of water near the mirror, and poured it on his hair to wash it out but saw that no blood left his hair instead, it left his hair black like the night sky. He walked out of the house and into the front yard were the Carnage lay. Then for an hour he made a pyre in which he laided his father apon. Cedric then lit the pyre with a tourch and watched his father burn.

When the fire died Cedric placed his fathers ashes around the pyre and then, as the Gallow religion dictated to pour the last of the ashes on he son's head. So Cedric poured them on his head. Cedric then went over to take his grandfather's armour inside and placed it in his case. And took his father's and Grandfather's blade and walked off to join the civil war his father began.
