FTP not working

my computer has a history of not being able to download files on FTP. even when i put the link in Download Accelerator. Anyone else have this problem or a solution for this problem?

Have you tried a standalone product like FileZilla? http://filezilla.sf.net

Also, do you have a software and/or hardware firewall?

software firewall, can it download without a third party prog?

Your software firewall might be blocking the ftp connection - what program are you using.

And can what download without a third party prog?

I second getting FileZilla. It flat-out rocks, I love to use it.
