The political cartoonist who drew this was fired today...
Yeah, I heard that. Guess political cartoonists have to toe the conservative party line now as well.
Thanks for providing context for the cartoon, but please remember no political discussion.
Steve Bell on BoJo:
If ... Boris Johnson's cunning plan for Northern Ireland
If ... Boris Johnson models his 'war cabinet' onesie
If ... Boris Johnson's 'war cabinet' tries to think
This was my favourite one from the Guardian recently
Those are surprisingly hard caricatures to unpick.
Second-from-left looks like Tony Abott and that's probably wrong.
It does a bit! Far left is Jacob Rees-Mogg, with maybe Dominic Raab beside him, the clown balloon is Johnson and the chap on the far right is Dominic Cummings with Michael Gove behind his legs. I dunno about the rest.
Third from left reminds me of Danny Filth, but I'm very certain that that is wrong too ^^.
Rees-Mogg, Raab, Patel, Javid, Barclay, Hancock?, Cummings, Gove.
Looking at the cabinet I think it is Hancock.
That would make sense, as Hancock became an enthusiastic Johnson supporter straight after being eliminated in the leadership contest.
So I only identify Mogg, Raab, Gove and Boris (who I assume is the balloon). Who are the others?
Is the one with the round green head Sajid?
The central one is that woman? (Patel)
... and later indubitably he will refer to his gaffe as 'a joke'.
