These villagers seems to have quite an extensive (and useless) knowledge of the polar regions...
what I love is the scout all lonely looking out over the water
They surveyed the area during the last ice age.
Always pisses me off when huts give me a map like that, Im like "WTF? dont they need astronomy to be able to explore that area?"
Naw, they used astronomy's much earlier second cousin--astrology--to divine the map.
what's funny about that?
ahh I see
My picture originally had a link to the Dutch War of Independence, but I guess the 80 Years War works better.
How do you get those symbols near the bottom of the screen? I have BUG but I don't have those symbols
Set the Draw Style to PLE on the Plot List (or is it Unit Icons now?) tab of the BUG options screen (ALT + CTRL + O). It's a drop down menu.
Here's another strange Aquaduct. The engineer decided to make a very wide curve, then sharp turn, instead of going straight line...
I thought this was kind of funny in my current game. Apparently the caravel didn't get the message that the fort was about to be farmed over when it decided to explore the lake. Who knows how long it had been there by the time I sent a plane over and spotted it.
And it has to cross the great wall twice
1) Oh come on!
2) Well that's humble...
3) Exactly how did someone get 100% approval rating? What is he, the only one alive in his country?
I don't get number 1.
Cool mod, BTW, what is it?
I think it shows that the War Elephant has 9.99/10 XP.
ElMikkino, you are correct. The sad part is that I lost the war elephant next battle in a 94% odds fight against a wounded axeman.
That is the Rise of Mankind mod. Great mod, but a) expect to take some time in your games (I've been playing this one for about 4 days now, and still am not out of the bronze age) and b) don't even think about the larger maps on a slow comp. My comp is very fast and has tons of memory, and it still takes it about 1 minute to process each move.
2. I know GE would be technically more accurate for Sid, but I think it'd make more sense for him to be a GA. The Civ series has gotta be one of the greatest works of art in the modern era...
3. The approval rating stat has been messed up going all the way back to Civ1. I've been trying for two decades to figure out how in the world it's computed. Random numbers pulled out of a hat?
Separate names with a comma.
