I really don't know from where you are taking that he has no hammers . From the city he has in the pic making a airport, he is clearly making a decent hammer output ...

And OFC he is not piling artist specs, as some of you seem to be thinking. He is spreading culture via espionage missions ...

I was exaggerating... argh! :cringe:

War... what is it good for?

That's not building a road, that's being infected with zombieism.

What war chariot?

I found this while cleaning out my files... Settler difficulty is so fun sometimes..

I know it's bad, and the screenshot thing covers up a city.. but still..

You would if your god commanded you to. And, I put up a different picture :D

More fun with funny culture

Pretty rough start (especially for Noble difficulty)...

I'm the Celts so the setback and forest fire (which just cost a little of the hut gold to nullify) random events were both mine, but that was a small price to pay for the free Priesthood from a hut.

The first civ to be wiped out, the Holy Romans, were destroyed by some unknown party. It may have been the barbs since Aachen was owned by them when I located it, or the barbs may have taken it from the Asoka of the Khmer (unrestricted leaders, of course) who was the closest other civ (the only one who could have possibly captured it in that time frame).

The second one to go, the Babylonians (lead by Willem van Orange), were killed by Pacal II of America who kept Babylon. He then RExed like the plague he is and had something around 3 times the number of cities I did for a while.

So Mansa Musa actually managed to capture a city?

Nope. I gave it to him. Aren't I so nice? At the time he was my only friend...
And: it's warlords

Or how three conqueror events in five turns can seriously change the power landscape.

Spoiler :
This is RFC Rand, which explains why the Mayans were still alive. At the moment, I'm playing through the mod and accepting every 'Do you want to take over the X?' pop up. Greece is indisputed world leader, but I managed to overtake them in power thanks to those conqueror events. A few turns later, Greece was collapsing thanks to a lost war with Rome, despite them having Cuirassiers already.
Oh, and the Greeks managed to take Rome in the middle ages. Talking about different timelines.

I see your vertical line and I put this in top :

Not sure if I had already showed this one in this thread ...
Spoiler :
This is what you get when you capture 3 cities with legendary culture of yours ... courtesy of the spread culture espionage mission :D
