An online ffa in future start/quick:
Ends in 18 turns, tech victory.

Others were just starting to produce units.


Strategy was:

Capital:
Ironworks -> Apollo Program [buy factory during construction] -> 3 spaceship parts

2nd city: Factory -> 2 spaceship parts

3rd city: Factory -> 1 spaceship part
 
I have no idea lol. Never seen another future era start hosted. It was funny though.

Heh. Well sure looks like you aced that one then! Remind me not to play you in future. My GDR will be walking towards your capital as your whole civilization waves goodbye from their spaceship.

I played a small future and crushed my neighbour only for China to win space albeit later than turn 18.
A cheap victory and annoying for me at the time. Must remember to disable space next time I host a future start.
I prefer modern personally.

Yeah, it usually takes me about ~40 turns to win after Industrial or Modern start via space race. There is much more time for other strategies [domination].
