    Hooray!

Secretly using a game-breaking strategy for 4 years is acceptable. But teasing the readers by announcing a game-breaking strategy and THEN keep it as a secret should be considered a crime ;)

Thanks for testing this Elitetroops. :)
Infinite Score sounds fun at first thought, but I'm actually glad it is impossible.

To generate the :espionage: necessary to steal :gold: from 16 colonies to fund 2.5 Sushi spreads per turn (145:gold: roughly), you need around 145*3 = 435:espionage: per turn.
1000:espionage: per turn feels more comfortable.
With STRIKE, perhaps only 200 Courthouses get built, but with Nationalism (+25% :espionage:) and 1 Spy Specialist from each Courthouse (+4:espionage:), that can generate 1400:espionage: per turn.
Spy Specialists are pretty terrible since Great Spies are useless at the end.
    Hmm.
If a captured City had Scotland Yard, I made sure to also whip a Jail (+4:espionage:, +50%:espionage:) + Intelligence Agency (+8:espionage:, +50%:espionage:) there to work 5 Spies with +200% bonus.
That is an excellent way for 1 city to make 102:espionage: all by itself.

Since only 2 Spies are used per turn to steal gold, it is fairly easy if you have 100 Galleons to move Spies into island colonies.
Moving 100's of Quechuas around is much more maddening.

They usually sit 5 turns since there is enough time thanks to having 16 choices to steal gold from every turn.

    **Edit**
Now that I actually looked, all 16 of the Colonies are running 100% :science: slider, 90% Science + 10% Espionage Slider, or 80% Science + 20% Espionage Slider. :hmm:
I really have no idea where they are getting all of their money. :dunno:
I know I stole over 12,000:gold: from them and only gave 3000:gold: to them before the start of STRIKE.

    Never tried Rising Seas.
Only a few people have ever tried it, but I can't find any links.

Worker Bait was my best guess for "WB Economy". :crazyeye:
Maybe Seraiel really did find something.
Will explore it in the future.

Been looking over your game log, but nothing stands out except skipping Pyramid (for more military?), capturing it later from an AI, and switching into and out of Police State+Slavery to Representation+Caste and back starting around 1600BC using a Golden Age for 0 Anarchy.
Also, The Great Lighthouse 1 turn after getting Sailing raised my eyebrows. (Cold whipped a Lighthouse?)
Maybe the secret "WB Economy" strategy is buried in the starting Combat Logs hmm

Looking forward to your thread next week. :D

This is the first game I've used my new game-breaking economy which I just made up before this started.

    Maybe you've confused that with...
4 years ago I figured out how to raise the dom limit 74%. That was the biggest score-breaker tactic (which was improved to 76%) And even tho I attempted to use it over the past few years, this gauntlet was only the 2nd serious attempt. And the first I finished.

Yep, captured Mids 1 turn after they were built by Pericles.

IIRC, I had double whip overflow of 180h from the granary to build the lighthouse.
Then chopped GreatLH in 1t. Maybe should have just captured that too. It was being built on the exact opposite side of the map. A far south coastal city instead of my north coast location. I didn't feel like re-routing my army and owning those distant cities so early in the game.

    That's great! Thank you!

Please explain why you put your HoF walk through in the Strategy and Tips forum rather than the HoF forum? It may have been better to put your walk through in the HoF forum and a thread linking to it in the Strategy and Tips forum to gain the attention of that audience, assuming that was your intent.

It's not common to put a 'writeup' in the HoF that is not accepted yet. Mine isn't even a writeup yet since it's being played. And, yes, larger audience.
The thread could be moved after it's inducted.

If I only link it there, then it won't bump up to the top every time there is a new post in the main thread.

It took me a year to notice this post, but yes, most of the major discoveries lately have leveraged city gifts in one way or another.
Nice work Shulec, you get a like!

I must mention it as I feel WT has stolen all of the attention with his WBE.

Kaitzilla, congrats again on highest score ever and breaking 10M mark. (Although WT did it too).

Wouldn't five cities with airport's be able to spread sushi?

The problem is after you 'fly' the exec is out of movement, so it can't spread any faster than if it had jumped on a boat.
It's pretty easy to have enough boats to guarantee 1 turn spread.

Oh you can swap ships? Okay wasn't aware you could do that then. Also wasn't sure you needed domination for 76% to max score but I finished thread today. I figured you could potentially make airport's if you didn't cross out quechuas with a tech and airport them away without giving up movement, they would only be 1/2 as fast. By chance could you link your 15m prep thread I couldn't find where it is last night. I would be very thankful for the link.

I actually started a hi-score game a month ago, but I got beat to Oracle and I can't decide if I should continue it.
