Standard Hall of Fame rules (*) still apply, but any games meeting the settings will be counted towards the Gauntlet.

To add to what WastinTime said:

A minor gauntlet typically ranges from settler to prince difficulty level. A major gauntlet ranges from monarch to deity difficulty level. There have been notable exceptions such as a hand full of deity level G-minors, but they were all relatitively short games (one evening or less).

G-majors are usually games that last longer, often more than a week to play, so a month of play time is allowed (two HoF updates). G-minors usually take less than a week to play, so its usually possible to play two or more submissions in the half month (one HoF update) time limit provided.

Thank you both for your kind clarifications!
Let me also mention my deep respect for your achievements, notably, Wastin Time's recent conquest in the all-peace GotM, SunTzu's exceptional scores and times in the HOF IV.

Always Peace Conquest Victory in GOTM? That sounds like fun. Sorry I missed it. I'll have consider xOTM (other the SGOTM which I'm getting addicted to) more seriously in the future.

Your compliments on my Civ IV HoF wins are too generous. WastiTime has much higher scores than me, though I do hold few Score slots. I've also lost many formerly #1 games to WastinTime recently.

I hope you enjoy the Gauntlets! Definitely start with this one; it should not be too difficult win and you might even break the top three in your first gauntlet.

Am I right in thinking that a standard HoF game will automatically count for the gauntlet as long as the settings meet the criteria outlined, i.e. there is no special process to submit games?

Yes, the submission process for ordinary HoF games and HoF gauntlets is identical. As you mentioned, you just need to be sure that all settings and options match those of the HoF gauntlet.

Good luck!

Congratz Shulec. I know per experience 1060 BC on quick isn't small business. That reminds a fierce battle between I and Jesusin on Prince Quick.

BTW, now answer beyotch!
