While the general Hall of Fame is an ongoing competition, we like to run time-definite competitions between updates that we call Gauntlets. Standard Hall of Fame rules (*) still apply, but any games meeting the settings will be counted towards the Gauntlet.

(*) Please read the >> HOF rules << BEFORE playing!

    Settings:
    • Expansion: Brave New World
    • Victory Condition: Diplomacy (though all victory conditions must be enabled)
    • Difficulty: King
    • Map Size: Standard
    • Map Type: Continents
    • Speed: Quick
    • Leader: Byzantium (Theodora)
    • Opponents: Any
    • Version: SV8
    • Date: 17th May to 1st June 2017
The earliest finish date wins, with score as a tiebreaker.

Continents and Quick speed. Not ideal for conquering all civs but 2 to force world leader vote in the Atomic Age.

If I have time for this, I will probably try to tech my way to Globalization tech ASAP using Byzantium's bonus religious belief to boost a Jesuit Universities Reformation-driven Science effort. It is hard to set up Jesuit Universities well, but very cool if you can pull it off!

t169 diplo 5 cities pp t114 two cycle world congress globalization bulb, low sea map setting couple of observatory cities
did a high sea map attempt and got the great barrier reef tiles workable but a forward settling william and washington took two of my expo spots, making the game a bit of a mess still in the t170's finish - both attempts fairly peaceful and religion was food focused

wondering if delaying the pp to bulb globalization in one cycle is doable for a t150's finish
