T178 nice @vadalaz! That must have been done within 1 voting interval though, right? A write-up would be nice.

Yes, I got it after the first congress vote. I was lucky enough to roll a pangaea so I went for the "eliminate all but 2 AIs and reach Atomic era" approach. Don't know what to say beyond that, it's just a mini-science game with some military focus (started with archers), so the usual SV benchmarks like ~t100 Education etc. all apply here.

Nice, didn't even realise this possibility. But wait, don't you need 50% remaining civs in the game to reach atomic? So how comes you left 2 AIs, it would make sense to me if it was just you and one other AI. What am I missing? Btw can you post a victory screenshot (or any other screenshots from your game)?

Yeah, 50% of 3 civs is 1.5, but the game rounds it down to 1 for some reason. I took some screenshots of the saves I still had lying around.

    Oh interesting :)

Btw I see from your screenshot that you have cities on flat ground. I always try to get cities on hills for the extra early hammer, for capital pretty much in 100% cases. Do you think it is not very important or are there some advantages for settling on flat ground? @vadalaz

I prefer settling on hills as well but it's not top priority for me. Having most of your good tiles in the first two rings so that the city can develop quickly is more important, I think.
