I have been playing games using an advanced custom config in single player with no problems.
I found a couple of mods that seemed interesting that I wanted to try so I downloaded them, but I was noticing that none of them seemed to be active in any of the games I had. In trying to test them I did a simple start game with the default random settings. After it had loaded the "welcome" screen while it was setting up the game and you clicked the round button it would load what looked like a totally blank map screen and the entire game would crash.
I removed the mods. No change.
Reverified all the game files. No change.
Uninstalled and reinstalled the game. No change.
If I use the custom config that I had previously setup I can create and play but if I create a new custom config or any other attempt to create a game and I get the blank map crash.
Don't know what to do now. Any ideas?
