I lost the expansion Warlords so I bought a new copy. I deleted the old one and installed the new one. After this was all done, I've came to a sad realization that my precious game Civilization 4 and it's expansion Warlords (the only ones I got) now have horrible frame rates. From the introduction video that you see when you start both games to when you actually play a game, everything chugs. This is odd since before both games ran perfectly on my computer.
In panic I deleted my games and reinstalled them. They still chug.
I have Windows Vista and my computer more than meets the recommended system requirements for the games. And there's really not many programs running while I'm playing these games.
So...I ask you all to give me some help here. I really want to play some Civilization.
