Game crashes when spreading Religion

Hi guys,

I keep on experiencing that the game crashes whenever i spread religion to my cities, City States and other Cities as well. It suddenly stop and the only way to get out of it is to press Esc button on the keyboard. Hopefully you can help me guys. Thanks!

I'm playing Civilization V.

Using any mods? Have you validated your game files through Steam?
