Please help,
running game on 1.52 patch
I have an AMD 64 2.0 ghz proseccor
1.5 gigs of pc3200 ram
an ati radeon x200 graphics card w/uptodate drivers
windows xp home pack2 completely updated
I have 2 problems one small and one huge
The game ran bug free for first 3 weeks
Since last wednesday 2 problems started on every game I have played.
The huge problem is that whenever I reach 1400 AD the game screen goes black after hitting end turn and then crashes to windows, no error message is given
The small problem is that since last wednesday at about 1000/1100 AD the open borders stops workingfor me. Anyone can come thru my lands regardless if I have open borders with them or not but I can not go thru anyone elses land unless I have open borders with them,
These 2 problems have happened 5 times now. 3 times on a downloaded map, earth realism v1.4, once on a random mirror map and once on a random lakes map. Each time I was playing a completely different civ. The crash is triggered by the year change but vannot figure out how to fix it. I have tried deleting game and reinstalling twice and have tried rolling back video drivers once(saw in a different thread). I really don't want to try reinstalling windows as its 1 a pain and 2 no gaurantee it will fix problem.
Anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this?
