Hey folks
I have been having trouble with getting Warlords IV to run on my new setup.
Essentially as soon as I load a patched version of Warlords to my existing load of CIV IV the writing disappears off the blue intro screens and before long the screen flashes with lines and messes up.
The Warlords game ran perfectly with Vista earlier in the year the only obvious change is that I now have a 21 Samsung SyncMaster screen and various security patches for vista etc have been installed. (which doesn't explain why an unpatched original CIV IV works correctly)
I have uninstalled and reinstalled everything and patched etc.
The only time it works with no crashing is with an original installation of CIV iV with no add-on packs!
Same problem occurs with a Beyond the Sword installation.
I changed the screen resolution to 1024 by XXXX.
I ran the game as XP Service Pack 2
I ran the game with Administration functions turned on.
I have the latest version of graphic drivers - (besides Warlords worked fine earlier in the year)
