[BNW] Game crashing before/after intro cinematic.

A couple days ago I played the game fine, and I haven't had this issue in my 514 hours of playtime.

I start the game, click DirectX 10/11 and it was crashing after the opening logos. I closed a bunch of programs I had open, tried again and now it runs the intro cinematic and THEN crashes.

No idea what to do.

I am hearing a few reports of this problem in the last few days, and I am having it personally. I'm seeing what I can figure out.

I haven't played Civ V for a couple months (played Civ 6 and then Holidays happenned) but tried loading civ v the last few days and it keeps crashing after intro movie. Anyone ever find a solution to this problem?
