Game error

I am having a problem after I installed the v 1.61 patch. When I load a game, I get this . After I click exit, all display menus are taken away, and I can just use my mouse. For example, when I click my settler, the icon thing of the settler does not show up. I have to use hotkeys to move everything, the menu and civilopedia icons are gone. Also, the advisors bar is gone. Please help.

Try clearing the cache and removing all mods...
If not working, uninstall, manually delete all civ folders, reinstall and repatch.

I did what you suggested, uninstalling and completely removing the game, and then reinstalling and repatching, and the game works fine now. Thanks.
