VCs aren't fixed, but to compete in the heptathlon, we'll need to win a game by each VC (conquest, Dom, 20k, 100k, space, Diplo, histographic) per year, with one extra game, correct? And the heptathlon is scored by total number of turns needed to achieve all VCs?
Also, I'd be willing to create a scenario (or a few), but I want to get a few more GOTMs under my belt first. If we all volunteer to create a game each year this would allow Più Freddo to compete too (if you want to)!

Please explain the difference between the two games released simultaneously. They follow separate numerical sequences so I guess they are part of a different series.

COTM is a game played in Civ3 Conquests, while GOTM is a game played in Civ3 Play the World (PTW). (Older GOTM were also playable in vanilla Civ3.) The rules of the two games are sufficiently different that we continue to play one game of each.

A) I made GOTM 174. It is complete and I have played it several times. There is always a different winner and it never me, so the game seems balanced enough and at the right level. Since I still have time to make changes I am asking for suggestions. Are there any things that you would like to see, or not see, in the game. Really any comments will be appreciated. I'm sure there will be some deficiencies in my creation compared to Piu Freddo's but the more information I can get in advance the better.

B) Are there still succession games played? If not, is anyone interested in doing one?

c) Are Hall of Fame games still played and available? What mechanism is there for playing/submitting those.

There are a couple of succession games going now: LK160 (using the CCM mod) and jar01 (standard game).

Hall of Fame games are still played. The rules can be found at: http://hof.civfanatics.net/civ3/rules.php
Register, start a game with the appropriate settings (check your starting save with the 4000 BC save checker), play the game according to the rules, and submit it.

We stopped soliciting a victory condition. The last Space Race games were GOTM160 and GOTM164.
