What I would really like to see in AoD is the ability to mess around with game speed. I like long, build type games that give me lots of time to colonize and settle the new world. I hate being rushed.
I've been looking at the speed settings, and it's quite trivial to change marathon speed so that each turn is as short as 1 month. But I can't quite figure out what kind of an effect the other settings will have.
