Game Stopping Bug

Hello everyone, my friends and i have been having a small problem whenever i am in the game. After about 3-5 turns the game puts the loading globe over the mouse cursor and completely stops moving. We can still look around but the turn never progresses. When i leave it starts again so I know it's my game and I have been trying to troubleshoot it but nothing is working. I have Civ5 through steam and have tried resetting my internet and firewalls for connection. Iv'e tried re installing the game and whenever I verify the game cache it says one file is missing and gets reacquired. When i restart the game freezes a bit and plays and then after the problem starts again. I'm sure it is the file causing the non-progression but i don't know why it keeps getting corrupted. Any help I greatly appreciated. My single player is unaffected and i have all the dlc including gods & kings.

Do you repeatedly verify the game cache? You need to keep doing so until it finds no problems.

I do, it shows 0 files missing after 2 runs and every time after it continues to be fine. After I load the game, if i back out and re-verify it shows the files missing again. I wish i knew which one it was so maybe i could delete the folder fully and hope that fixes it.

I think it's safe to delete your entire cache folder (or even safer to move it to some other location) and then verify the files again. That should reload all the cache.
