Nevermind I got it. If you have a compaq presario go to the compaq website and download the newest 3d graphics driver. :goodjob:

The same thing happens to me but I don't have a Compaq so what do I do?

: mutters : stoopid non-Compaq PC....

Ok, does anybody know how I could check out what my video card is and also does someone know of a website with the latest video cards are for the IBM ThinkPad?

I hope this works!

Allo KingMattRoe, I'm also using a Thinkpad T22, so the video card should be an S3 Savage. Subsequently you could (assuming you're using XP) go to Control panel -> System -> Hardware -> Device Manger. under Display Adapters right click on your graphics card and select update driver. that should automatically look for the appropriate update if required.

hope this helps.

This only updates with drivers that are already on the system, which means unless you have downloaded new ones this, essentially, does nothing.

What you should do if you want to update you video drivers is to go the device manager and see what the listed video card is (GeforceX, ATI Radeon XXXX, Savage X) and then do a search online for a driver update, using google or its ilk, or ask in the forums where to get the latest driver for the video card.
