GameRanger used???

Has anyone tried the game with GameRanger? Once in a chat room, having clicked 'host game,' do I just click start or do i need the game running first?

I have not used gameranger and will probably never try it. I personally do not enjoy playing games like FFH using a "pick up" game system. People will get a bad start then disconnect or see the tides war turning against them then disconnect. I would rather get chat with the people and get to know them more while playing them. That is why i feel the IRC channel for FFH2 is the best option for finding good MP games and people to talk with about FFH2

Nobody uses GR anyway...the chat room ushram suggested is an excellent way to find MP games for FFH.

Actually, wasn't using it to FIND bodies....just to connect. We've had problems connecting via Direct IP, but the GR seemed to do it without probs...so...was first time in a long time we managed to connect and play...was curious how others found it worked...no lag, was quick.
