The crashes are reproducable :
1) I start as Russia (first turn). I move my settler 2 tiles north. I meet the Indians. We bargain and I give them 2 simple technologies(first two from my list) for 40 and World Map.
Then the game crashes

2) I can not load the the save file anymore from this game, but I have not upgraded since then (Russia in 1739, before it was working fine, but then I let it lie for a while and when I wanted to continue it could not load the file.)
