Has anyone else noticed the difference in graphics from the screenshots from fraxis and the pics from Germany? I know they are taking pics of a video, but the clearity of the game seems so different.

Different how? Examples? I know the UI is a little more up to date, and I'm sure you are right, but I haven't noticed any specifics and now I'm curious.

Um, I think it's that some of the gamescon folks are taking pictures of the screen, not doing screenshots from within the game and exporting them. They're using workstations at the event and most likely don't have the ability to offload images.

Taking pictures of a computer screen is pretty much iffy.

And besides, im sure Firaxis has CiV running on the highest settings on some pretty powerful computers

sorry about the spelling, not my strong point.
anyway, i mean the colors the clarity everything, i tried to cup and copy some pics but i couldnt figure it out. the screen shots from fraxis looks almost like a photo graph but the pics from germany look like the xbox 360 game...pretty different.

Yeah, the color is different because someone took a picture of the computer screen, and the reflection off the screen, lighting (or lack of, it's probably dark), etc affect the picture.

They're not screenshots.

I hear what your saying slo, they looked more neon looking, or flashy, like rev. Just as Zhahz said its most likely from taking a pic of the screen, and different monitors display lighter and darker, could be a bunch of things. Or 2k has started listening to all the crackpot ideas on the forums...... lets hope not!

No need to apologise for spelling errors! Especially not such a minor one as clearity/clarity. People pointing out such minor, unimportant things are just trying to make fun on the expense of others and they are best ignored.
