Ou so it is. There is also a Nuclear Submarine in the picture. Also not sure if the ship near the Nuclear Submarine might be the Missile Cruiser as its clearly isn't a Destroyer.

Nice shots but I think my brain has become numb to screenshots. I need a sulla-like walkthru with juicy details, or at the least someone with a clue like Azzazel answering more in-depth questions.
Firaxis/2K need to let the dogs out.
Why allow every 2-bit media outlet in the world unlimited access to preview builds when half of them barely have a clue and keep the fanatics in the dark?

that's mechanized infantry
I still think there needs to be some kind of motorized infantry, either a unit on its own or a promotion.
As imperialman stated it is Ticonderoga class missile cruiser. If you close up to the game picture and compare it to this image. You clearly see it has the same front and on the back you can even see the helicopter landing spot on the game picture. Also the most notable difference that clearly shows that its not the Destroyer is that it only has two smokestacks when Destoroyer has three and that the main antenna is between the smokestacks when on the Destoyer its infront of the first smokestack.
What I have seen the build icons for the units are quite accurate of what they look in the game. So if you look the Submarine build image Arioch has on his site it clearly shows that the tower is in the rear/middle end of the Submarine. In the Submarine we see in the game picture its in the front like modern day submarines as the missiles are on the middle of the ship right behind the tower. Also the picture on Arioch site shows Nuclear Submarine and it looks the same.
The first game images seem to be already on the future tech as the city looks quite futuristic.

Do they never watch Richard "Mack" Machowicz presenting Future Weapons on Discovery Channel ?!?!?! Mechs dont work!

but the rivers DO look terrible! This is 2010, rivers aren't supposed to look like they're from battlefield 2. I mean, the rivers in Civ IV looked better!
