Anyone knows what is the round symbol besides a unit in the garrison box in the city display. Doesn't seem to be smiling face and only some garrisoned units have it. Thanks for any help!

Hmm, the only symbols I see ARE smiley faces. Under some governments (e.g., Despotism, but not Republic or Democracy), you get a smiley-face (happiness) for 2 or 4 military units, depending on the gov't. Do these symbols you see disappear when you switch to Republic or Democracy?

I do not have the chance to change gov yet. but do the mood of the military units matter? I thought only the mood of the citizens are important?

The smilies you see represent the fact that citizens are made happy *because* the unit is in the city. Nobody ever asks the Grunts what they think of life in Civland.

When you go broke your military advisor asks them how they'd like to be disbanded.
