Next week maybe.
Do you think Eyjafjallajökull will explode in the new expansion?
and you surely are part of the exception who thinks so. Canada and the US are similar on the outside, as Brasil and Argentina, or Germany and Austria, or Ukraine and Russia, can appear to be. History and mindsets and inhabtants' core values are very different.
Will Mount Kilimanjaro be wifi-enabled?
Really? I live on the border of the Midwest and the Northeast (Great Lakes region basically), and feel like I have a lot more in common with people in Ontario (for example) than I do with Deep South or the Western Plains or Arizona or California.
Read American Nations by Colin Woodard. It’s a great exploration into this very phenomenon. I’m sure we could have distinct civs for each sub-nation he describes.
About black death scenario, do you think it features areas outside Europe?
Did plague affect for example parts of Africa or Ottoman empire?
I really liked the Into the Renassaince scenario in Civ 5 and would be cool to have a scenario with medieval powers like Ottoman, Mali, Hungary, France, England, Sweden etc.
Corvinus was around a century after the Black Death though. Also, Ottomans during the Black Death were still a small beylik in Asia Minor and the Byzantine empire still held considerable territory in the Balkans.
This is the map of the area around 1350 (the height of the Black Death):
I'm not sure someone has mentioned it but I liked how they had planned the live stream yesterday. With a panel sort of discussing while the other guy (Carl?) played. Neither the discussion or play suffered because they had to switch their attention back and forth. For which they received criticism before during the RnF marketing.
I appreciated that also. It was a step up in sophistication.
Hyped there is finally Hall of Fame again Hopefully done right.
I live in Warsaw and sometimes feel like have a lot more in common with people from Frankfurt than I do with Mazurian country 50 kilometers outside a city... I think it
Black Death scenario was teased in R&F cinematic. So "Byzantine" part of RS cinematic hint Byzantine in the next expansion. Unless it is a scene of the 1667 earthquake in Dubrovnik. Then we have Croatia confirmed.
EDIT *** Please refrain from making snide comments on other countries, when it would be SO easy to make some on yours (and your present president)
I'm actually re-watching the video, yes I am that much of a fanatic. Around 16:54 he addresses 3 specific victory types that are being reworked. Domination victory, Science Victory, and Cultural victory. Which may prove my suspicion they aren't touching religion or religious victory at all.
edit: quote edited out
Is there a FaceApp of Theodora by any chance?
I DO agree with you that it's not a likeable post but... if it,s ok to write that Canada is an almost country that's an appendage to the US, then it IS ok to write about your president
***EDIT... but you're right, it's not something that should be on this board, in this thread...changed it ***
It could be the other way around though. Volcanoes are famous for influencing climate. Let's hope they do that.
The Black Death returned several times though. Not as deadly as the first time, but it did come back for hundreds of years and it actually still exists to this day (I wasn't aware of that either before I read the wikipedia article about it).
Yeah, I loved it as well. We got to see more than we normally did, and the talk was more focused as well.
Not contradicting what you are saying, but that map is partially inaccurate as Seljuks did not exist anymore in 1350. Here is a better map that show what u say but is correct for the Anatolian region as far as it shows it:
That Black Death scenario sounds like just the thing for modders to make health and disease mods.
