I don't know exactly what christian laws say about sexual allignment , but this attitude seems not so christian to me .

I think quite a few homosexual Christians might disagree with you. IIRC, there has recently been a high-profile appointment of a homosexual priest in the UK. Would you go up to him and say, "Sorry, pal, you might live a life ten times less sinful than mine but you are not a Christian because you're gay?"

Oh, I'm sorry, I must be mistaken: are you God? You sure sound like it when you say his actions disgust God, as if you know personally exactly what God likes and dislikes. Or perhaps you just read it in the Bible, so you're relying on a tertiary source about something supernatural which man cannot comprehend but must rely on faith as proof to condemn someone else for being gay The mind boggles.

Just like there are no lying christians, no stealing christians, no jealous christians and no christians that hate their parents. Furthermore, never ever did a christian kill another human.

Excuse me , may be I don't understand something ( frankly , I'm pretty weak in religion matters ) but Christianty and satellite TV , or Lincoln Limusine , or atomic watch can't coexist either .

ok at the risk of getting flammed here....

This case and the arguements over gay priests all falls into one arguement for me - the rules of these organisations all state the homosexuality is against their beliefs (I make no comment on the right and wrong of that) therefore being homosexual is unacceptable - and against the rules. Therefore they are right to expel or not accepet anyone who will not follow the rules - if you don't like the rules don't join the club.

Yes I know about the hypocrasy of these organisations (and find it very annoying) and the discrimination but they have their own rules and beliefs which they must follow - however wrong that may seem to others.

If you're referring to the whole Bishop of Reading fiasco, the guy either declined the position or resigned it shortly after being given it (I can't recall which) because of the convulsions the appointment caused in the CoE / Anglican communion.

Given that the attempt to install a gay bishop was the work of the recognised head of the Anglican church, I would have to say that the issue cannot be considered as cut & dried as that.

Don't you see that these crimes where done to people AGAINST their will, while homosexuality takes place between CONSENTING adults.
