GermaNES: Governors and Emperors

Also, how much will it cost to upgrade training quality? And what do each of the numbers on the economy stat represent?

First number is Tax.
Second number is Agriculture sales.
Third number is Trade income.
Fourth number in parenthesis is total gold you have for turn.

Also each turn spans a whole month.

You cannot upgrade training quality, that can only be upgraded by battles. But each Legion you buy will always be the best equipped soldiers possible. The prices just reflect cost of equipment plus soldier pay. Elite pays more than conscripts.

Anyone who gets me a map of the Roman Empire at its peak all painted and ready with the districts will get a bonus of either 5 Veteran Legions or 30 Gold. Upon approval of course. You can pm me for info or post it on the thread. Thanks.

My paint is down and for some reason wont paint. I would pick red and it paints black.

This one's pretty good:

Well that is the idea I had for the size of the Empire, minus Nubia and Ireland. But they can always be conquered. The Parthian Empire would be replaced by the Persian Empire now, well the southern part, the northern part is still Roman. But other than that, that is exactly how I pictured it....

I shall give you 1 Veteran Legion for finding such a great map to use as a basis for paint or other things.

Good Map, though impossible to update i reckon. Though probably handy for City and region names etc.

What is the starting date? And is the Empire Christian, pagan, or something else?

The Empire is mostly Christian, with some Pagan believers. The last 10 Emperors were all Christians so that says alot.

The Persians on the other hand are strong Pagans.

Starting date will be announced when we get a map, unless you guys want to use the map sp posted. It seems pretty good to use and I can tell you what regions the Persians own under the map.

Feanor it is a good map, but a bit too large and a bit too small, I wanted to include Parthia as well.

Huayan Capac: Sorry to see you go.

Carmen: Greece is yours if you still want it.

Sp: What do you mean? Greece is Provincial, as it has a governor.

No, the veteran legion. Unless you were talking to feanor...

I will join as anything assigned, but I am not done reading the ruleset as of yet. I will do it later. I like the concept though (My first NES cough cough) and will join surely. I'll read up on it later, and will as I said accept anything you'll sign me in on.

SP1023: You have a new Veteran Provincial Legion in your stats.

Lord Joakam: I have tons of Roman Governors, so I could use a Persian General for the Anatolia Command if you want that. Other than that I have a Roman General position for Anatolia command.

taking Anatolia

taking Anatolia

Which Anatolia? Persian or Roman?

Anatolia is occupied by Persian troops, but Roman Legions are still in the area, reorganizing from their battle in Constantinople.

ohh, umm Roman.

Also, Germanicus, you should put the rating of troops For example

imperial Legion (Greater than symbol, can't find it on the keyboard) Provincial Legion (Greater than) Mercenary.

This is just an example, but please put something like this up.
